Trader Joe’s French Vanilla Coffee Review
To be quite honest, I’ve never been super excited about the coffee options at Trader Joe’s. Ever since they did away with one of my all time favs (New Mexico Pinion Coffee), I had almost lost all hopes that they’d ever stock something again that held such a special place in my pantry. That is, UNTIL NOW! Oi Oi Monsieur…Enter the brightest shining star on the coffee aisle right now, The Trader Joe’s French Vanilla.
Now normally, I’m not super drawn to the French Vanilla coffees. Too foo foo for me. I tend to like my coffee strong and black. But for this, I’ll make an exception all day long! Not only is this appropriately bodied, but the flavor profile here just kicks ass. No other way to say it. It’s smooth, almost creamy in taste, while still maintaining a bold undertone. There is a slight nuttiness to it also. The vanilla sweetness is not overbearing in least but, and it adds such a pleasant complexity to the coffee that you just don’t get in most other roasts. Overall, this coffee is just RICH. Rich in flavor. Tastes expensive to me. I freaking love this stuff. Definitely DO NOT miss this one guys! Go grab a sack and weigh in with your thoughts down below!
