Trader Joe’s Porta 6 Red Wine Review

I really dig this Porta 6 red wine! Right off the bat guys, I love to see TJ’s rep’n Porutgal in the import section of the wine aisle! We all know that often times our wine shelves are overun with other countries’ product, like Australia for example. If I ever drink another glass of Yellow Tail it’ll be too soon, but I digress. So it’s nice to see something from “off the beaten path”. This stuff just rocks! Fruit forward. Smooth and simple. A real pleasant drinker. I taste peach here, and I get a slight hint of pine wood on the finish. I’m really not sure what grape variety this is made from, but it must be a blend of some sort. A good table wine. I drank it with a Mediterranean Grain bowl that I made. For the price, the taste, and the country of origin…this one is a solid 4 chester all the way! Let us know what you think down below!
