Trader Joe’s Noble Vines 667 Pinot Noir Monterey 2016 Review

The Noble Vines 667 Pinot Noir is not a bad buy as far as Pinots go. I really haven’t spent much time exploring these wines as of late, but this one wasn’t really all that bad. Pinots are typically more toward the medium dry end of the spectrum, and this one follows suit in this regard. It’s actually pretty smooth once you allow it to open up a little bit and get some aeration action going on. I’m tasting an undertone of milk chocolate, which hints ever so slightly toward a sweet finish. I smell lots of tannins here, which I’m not usually a fan of. An oakey overtone rounds the whole overall dynamic together quite nicely. I’d serve this with tomato roasted chicken. If you’re really into Pinot Noirs, then I think you might like this one. Give it a shot, and let us know what you think down below!
