Trader Joe’s Sliced Uncured Corned Beef

Has anyone ever wondered how they corn beef? Do they tell the cows “corny” jokes as they are raising them? Do they make the cows play a game of “corn hole” with them at a backyard bbq? Do they take an ear of corn and…err..uh, well, let’s just stop right there and not speculate any further. Regardless of the method, this stuff is great! Not overly salty. The meat is hearty and not overly fatty. Moisture content is just right. Not bad for a pre-sliced version. Only thing holding it back from 4 chests in my eyes is the fact that it comes kinda mashed up in pieces in a big ball, making it hard to separate out the pieces and pull sandwich formatted slices out of the packaging. Plus, you’ll just never be able to get the same taste as what you’re gonna get buying the fresh sliced stuff out of the deli cooler at that awesome Jewish deli right down the street. Oh wait, what, you don’t have one of those right down the street from you?? Well then, you’re in luck! TJ’s is just a few blocks away. Get on down there and go get some! Mazeltov!
