Re-fried black beans?? Is that even a thing? Isn’t this going against the Mexican Bean Council’s directive to re-fry pinto beans and only pinto beans?? I mean, you can’t just go around refrying whatever beans you damn well please Trader Joe. Where does it end? Canned refried jelly beans? I think the Easter Council would take issue with this as well. Despite your lunacy, you really nailed it again here! Good flavor. Doing something a little different gets you points in this category. The jalapeno peppers add a great little kick too. Plus the enhanced sense of knowing that you’re eating a more nutritional bean vs the pinto is points in my book as well. Nice work! $1.49
