The Plow and Stars red blend was decent, although just another middle of the road type of wine that serves well as a table wine and not much more. In this category and at this price point, all these blends just start tasting the same to me and there’s just not much here that makes this one stand out in my mind. Mostly smooth, well rounded, and a little fruity on the finish. The interesting thing about some of these blends is that they don’t tell us anything about the grape varieties that go into them, so we are left guessing. Not bad, but nothing to write home about either. I’d probably reach for another blend from another label just to try something else before I reached for this one again.
