I always feel bad when I have to write reviews such as this. You know when you had such high hopes for something, and then you just feel let down and disappointed after you’ve opened up your heart to a new tortellini? It’s like you did everything you possibly could to convince yourself that this tortellini was good for you, but in the end, she just left you hangin’? It hurts, I know, but there are other tortellinis out there, and I assure you, one day you will find the right tortellini for you. I was bummed about these. I really was. Overly dough-ey, barely any appreciable flavor to the sub standard ratio’d pesto filling, and a little soggy even after carefully trying to time these into an al dente finish. I would probably advice you to try an alternative tortellini before giving these a go. BTW, not sure what’s with the spelling either? Tortelloui? If that’s a legitimate alternative variety of pasta then I’m just not up on my stuff and I shall have to relinquish my Pasta Professionals of America ID card.
