Not all hams are created equal. For some reason, adding just a hint of herby-ness kicks this one over the top in my book. The flavor of the rosemary here is real subtle, but adds a dimension of flavor to this lunch meat that makes it stand out. As for the meat itself, what’s great about it is the fact that it’s not slimey and overly moist like some of the other pre-sliced hams on the market. Never really could understand why some of them came that way. This one is dry by contrast to those others out there. I think you’re onto something big here Trader Joe. Why not experiment more in this realm? How about some basil roast beef? Thyme chicken? Parsley pastrami? Let us know what you think down below. $3.29
