Trader Joe’s Hot Italian Sausage Review
These days, there are many brands of your basic Italian sausages out there in the refrigerator case at any given market you might shop at. I wish i could say that these stand out in some way above all the rest that are out there, but they all taste pretty much the same to me. It always makes me wonder, is it just the same manufacturer behind all these sausages who just slaps different labels on their packaging to give us consumers the impression that we are buying something different? Who knows, but all that aside, these things are basic, yet good! And the price is pretty much what you’d pay at most other markets for their similar product. Sausage Usage Idea
How do you use your sausage at home? This may be TMI for you, but I’ll tell you how I like to use mine at home. Yes, you can grill them, fry them, broil them, etc, but how about something different? My grandfather used to dry his own sausage, and my father does the same thing at home. And now, I have taken on the hobby of sausage drying. You’d be surprised how great these taste in dried form. Truly a different idea! But it’s simple. Just take the raw sausages, tie a string to the end of each of them, and hang them from one of the racks in your refrigerator. Give ’em a few weeks, and voila. Dried sausage. Serve with your favorite cheese and crackers, or saute them sliced up for a little bit different texture and flavor experience!
