Trader Joe’s Fresh Mozzarella Cheese Log Review
Molto bene, Mozzarella cheese log! Convenient? Yes. You saved me from having to bust out my slicing knife Trader Gioto, but most of us are gunning for taste more than anything, and this mozzarella was not completely what I was expecting. It just tasted a little bland. It lacked that milky depth of flavor I was hoping for. It was also a tad drier than what I was expecting, and the consistency of the cheese was not exactly as rubbery as a hardcore proper fresh mozzarella should be. Challenging to describe, but the cheese was just kind of firm and tasteless, kind of like tofu actually! It wasn’t horrible, but I think I’d probably reach for a different mozzarella next time. Mozzarella Cheese Usage Idea
I think even most meat eaters would be surprised at how satisfying a straight up all veggie sandwich can be. I challenge you all out there, if you haven’t done something like this before, DO IT! Flavorful and filling, this random smattering of ingredients came together real well. Just a little inspiration for you here, but mix in whatever you’ve got on hand and see how you like it. This was Trader Joe’s Sliced Sourdough Bread, Trader Joe’s Fresh Mozzarella Cheese Log, Trader Joe’s Cruciferous Crunch Mix, Trader Joe’s Sweet Cherry Peppers, sliced tomato, sliced avocado, yellow mustard, and a little bit of Mayo. Trader Joe’s 3 Seed Beet Crackers on the side.
