Trader Joe’s Charles Shaw Red Blend Review
The Charles Shaw Red Blend Wine?! When did they come out with this!? And where has this been all my life?! Are you kidding me Trader Joe? This is hands down one of the best buys that I’ve had in a long, long time! I haven’t bought a bottle of Charlie Shaw in a while, but for some reason this caught my eye today when I was in the store, and I had to try it. This Red Blend is LIGHT YEARS ahead of any other Charles Shaw bottle I’ve ever bought. The flavor, smoothness, and basic nature of this wine is ridiculous. It drinks like a table wine, perhaps something along the lines of a Chianti, which makes it stupidly versatile. It’s definitely more on the lighter side of reds, and I’m pickin’ up some strawberry jam flavor here. Super fruity. Almost like Sangria’esque. Dang it, I just can’t get over how smooth this wine is! I can’t believe I’m saying this, but this bottle has earned a place on my wine hall of fame. Let me know if you guys hold it in such high regard! Am I right? Or am I crazy? Or maybe the cheap buzz is skewing my judgment? Haha, whatever the case, I’m convinced…this stuff ROCKS. Go get some you cheap b*****d.
