Trader Joe’s Barbera D’Asti 2016 Red Wine Review
Yup yup, the Barbera D’Asti…it’s legit. I mean, come on it comes from Italy, just like me. What else would you expect!? All kidding (and kidding about the kidding) aside, this bottle is a pretty good buy for the money. The label even looks high class too, much like me when I’m wearing a clip on tie. This wine is a good every day drinker. A nice, “I just got home from running around all day and I need a buzz now” kind of drinker. It’s smooth and pretty rounded. Not really too dry, and it actually sort of leaves you with a pretty moist palate after you sip it. I’m tasting bing cherries here. Maybe a slight hint of oak wood. I smell a little leathery pepper here too. Ok, had enough of the B.S. words that are used to describe wine by snobs? Here’s a few last words for you. It’s good stuff. Go get some mi amici!
