Trader Joe’s Hi-Protein Veggie Burger Review
I’ve tried many veggie burgers over the years. Lot’s of times they are too moist and cook up to a bland, flavorless mush patty. This one is step up I’d say in this realm though. Although not a 4 chest product, this one does stand out however as the best veggie burger option, IMHO, at the time of this article being written. Let’s see…first off, this burger boasts a more heartier texture than most, although some might say it edges toward too “bready”. Mine cooked up to a nice crisp when I put it under the broiler for about 10 minutes total, between flipping a few times. You will definitely taste an herbal flavor here, but I tried to offset this a little by sprinkling Montreal steal seasoning on each side while I was cooking it. It worked out really well. Some might be also in the fact that you only get 2 patties here for the price you normally pay to get 4. But hey, you get what you pay for, right?! Give these a shot though if you are into veggie burgers. And if you’re not, well, you smell. Let us know what you think down below!
Hi Protein Veggie Burger Usage Idea
Now here’s a winner! An idea for your next NO-MEAT Monday. Whole wheat flax seed bread, Trader Joe’s veggie burger, Trader Joe’s butter leaf lettuce, red onion, mayonnaise, mustard, a sliced up Trader Joe’s deli pickle, and some Trader Joe’s giardinara on the side. This just worked. So good.
