Trader Joe’s Key Lime Tea Cookies Review
Wow, do you think they could have packed anymore lime flavor into these tiny little cookies? It’s sort of like someone forcefully jammed two ripe limes into your mouth cheeks and boxed your face with their fists. Uh, well, maybe I’m getting a little carried away here with my analogies, but you get the point. The lime flavor is REALLY strong in these cookies, and I imagine this might chase some snackers away, myself included. It’s a shame, because the shortbread flavoring with the powered sugar is actually really tasty, but the lime just over powers the whole thing IMHO. These would be 10x better if they just toned down that lime flavor about 50%. One good thing going for them, is that they do actually taste quite like key lime pie, if that’s your vice.
