Trader Joe’s organic Ancient Grain and Seed Wheat Bread Review
You know, it has been a while since my go to wheat bread buy (Alvarado Street Flax Seed Wheat Bread) in good Ol’ TJ’s has been de-throned. And although this ancient grain and seed wheat bread gives my top pick a real solid run for the money, it still falls short, just by a hair though!
What I can tell you about this bread is that it still get’s a more than honorable mention as for TJ’s wheat options. The bread has a slight dougheyness to it, which I really like. It seems to stay appropriately moist for the duration of it’s life in your fridge, or on your counter-top if you are a bread cowboy and keep your stuff “out”. The seeds and grains offer a nice flavor add and I love that texture that comes along with it. Favorite part, and you may call me crazy…but I taste an evvvveeerrr so slight sweet finish on it, something like you might get in a honey wheat style bread. All in all, a REALLY solid pick on the bread aisle! Give it a whirl, and let us know what you think of it down below!
