Trader Joe’s Nero Grande Appassimento 2016 Red Wine Review

UN-BE-LIEVABLE guys! This Nero Grande Appassimento wine…it’s just…just music to my mouth! Some of these import wines can be a real craps shoot from Trader Joe’s, but this one FAR exceeded my expectations! This stuff comes from the Puglia region in Italia. It’s defintely full boddied, but does not drink so hard at all. It is more soft in my view, and is more sweet than a traditionally full boddied wine such as something like a Cab. I just can’t get over how smooth this wine drinks! Wow. I taste strawberry and oak notes. Try this wine with a nice plate of lasagna. Or shoot, anything for that matter. It’s hard to screw up a pairing when you have a wine that tastes this off the charts good! YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS!!! I hope this wine sticks around and isn’t one that comes and goes so quickly. This one is definitely hall of fame worthy. Let us know what you think down below $6.99
